great sex but ...

this is really two stories it takes place in the sixteenth century one is the story of an incan princess named inez who is schooled in sexuality by her tutor lorenzo who proves to be an unscuplulous snake when he is sent away she races after him heaven knows why she even pretends to be a boy there is lots of unconventional sex the other main character is a young english woman named jane who is serching for her brother named andrew both have many sexual adventures and thankfully some of them are with women but the reason I did not give this novel five stars is there were scenes where the woman were forced into sex it bordered on rape and that is repugnant I dont find reticence stimulating next in one scene inez is whipped in fact there were several such scenes between jane and inez the viceroy in my opinion was scum and I find bdsm disgusting that is not a judgement just my opinion my favorite scene is where inez is captured by amazons and initiated into the tribe but all ends well inez winds up with andrew and jane with don xavier a vicerory even with its flaws I still recommend this novel for the sexually open minded
